The Innovation Award Bluepharma | University of Coimbra is attributed every 2 years to an innovative research project in Health Sciences area, in accordance with the terms and conditions described in the application guidelines.

The Award consists of a prize of €20,000 to fund a proof of concept project. Following the proof of concept, if the promoters are interested in the creation of a spin-off company based on the project, Bluepharma may decide to invest up to €30,000, depending on the project’s merit and market viability.

The Bluepharma | University of Coimbra Innovation Award aims to distinguish excellence scientific research at an international level. Bluepharma joins once again University of Coimbra to award innovative projects in the Health Sciences field.

Applications are still open until Monday, April 15th and must be submitted through the form available HERE or at the University of Coimbra website.

As a requirement, the research work in the competition must have been partially or totally conducted in Portuguese institutions, by national and/or foreign professionals.
